Open House Featuring; Pool Demonstrations, Pet Licensing,
People & Pet Food Collection and More
To officially kick-off the grand opening of their Canine Aquatic Center, the First Canine Zero-Depth Pool Servicing the North Shore, Carriage Hill Kennels will be hosting an open house on Saturday June 5, 2010 1-4pm. The event will feature special dog swimming demonstrations at 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm, Pet Licensing opportunities by the Glenview Police Department and an exclusive gift certificate drawing by well known pet photographer David Sutton. The event is open to the public and free of charge, but Carriage Hill Kennels will be collecting donations of people or pet food for the Northfield Township Food Pantry during the open house.

Carriage Hill’s co-owners Francine Barnes and Chris Cocallas were inspired to create the new Aquatic Center just for dogs after they witnessed firsthand the benefits of hydrotherapy with their Springer Spaniel, Denver. “Denver will be providing demonstrations at the Open House, allowing people to see how much fun they have and what a great way it is for any dog to get into shape and stay in the best condition possible,” said Francine. Chris added, “We have created a safe and fun environment where the focus is not only on the happiness of our dogs, but also on enhancing their physical well being.”

The Canine Aquatic Center, a 5,243 square foot facility, features an 800 square foot, zero-depth swimming pool specifically designed for dogs. The year round Aquatic Center also features a viewing area for spectators and owners, an indoor doggie exercise and play room outfitted with slides and other dog friendly activities, an outdoor play area and new grooming center. Every activity and service is supervised by a trained and experienced staff. Carriage Hill Kennels also provides boarding, grooming and bathing services.

While other kennels might offer small wading pools, Carriage Hill Kennels provides the real deal for their four-paw friends.

Clients can schedule swim sessions for their dogs at Carriage Hill Kennels with a simple phone call (847)-724-0270. Be assured that a skilled Carriage Hill staff member will be in the pool with your dog at all times.

This new facility already growing in popularity, firmly enhances Carriage Hill Kennels’ premier reputation as the North Shore and Chicago land area’s preferred resource for pet care, boarding and grooming. From the excited client response that Francine and Chris have already received, it would appear that every dog can, indeed, have his day!
